Packing Up

The packers were kind enough to let Hannah and Isaac take a look around their truck. Besides hauling all our household items, they are also moving a car and a lot of bikes. I've never lived anywhere for more than four years, so I should be used to moving by now. But, this is very emotional move for me. We invested alot of money, hard work, and memories into this home. There won't be another like it. The sell on our house closes on June 30. We'll have a little celebration during vacation.

SOLD!

After a long week of house hunting in Cleveland,
we pulled up to our house on Friday night and saw this: It feels so good!

Turns out we got three offers on our house. We picked the family that wrote a long sentimental letter about how wonderful they felt visiting our home. It will be their first home.
Thanks for all your prayers on our behalf.

Thanks Mom

I love being able to sew. Besides knowing how to cook and clean, sewing has been one of the most useful skills I have to take care of my home and family.
Thanks Mom for teaching that skill while I was yet in my youth.

Cute fabric--75% off
Time--one week
Showing up to church with matching dresses--priceless.

Hannah's Sacrament Debut

Today was Hannah's first opportunity to shine with the Primary as they sang for their mother's up on the stand. At first, the spotlight vanished as two CTR 6 boys pushed their way infront of Hannah. But, luckily, a 12 year old girl picked Hannah up so everybody could see her. She was the only Sunbeam singing. Here is a taste of our young budding talent. We dedicate this to all the mothers in our family.

Happy Easter Everybody

What a wonderful Easter Sunday. We had a wonderful meetings at church. The kids were even well behaved. We didn't have to take them out of Sacrament meeting once. The kids loved coloring eggs and having and Egg Hunt. We had 12 colored eggs and 12 candy filled eggs. Amazingly, all the hard-boiled eggs ended up in Isaac's basket. What are the odds of that?
For all our friends and family, Mark received orders this week. We are being transfered to Cleveleand, Ohio. Mark will be doing some engineering stuff. We are expecting to move mid June if we can manage a move that quickly. We will miss our friends in this area and our house that we have put so much heart and sweat into. But, we look forward to a new place and new experiences.

Holly's Birthday BLOW OUT!

For Holly's birthday bash, we took a trip to the local Roller Skating rink. For $25 a family of four can spend endless time going around and around and around in circles. Plus you get a large pepperoni pizza and drinks. This was Hannah's first time skating and she took to it rather well. The girl knew no fear as long as she was holding somebody's hand. Notice they had Barbie skates just for Hannah.

Although Isaac was not allowed to skate he did make his presence known by having two blow out diapers in the space of an hour. Such a mishap cut our evening's fun short. Luckily, it was Holly's birthday, so she did not have to deal with cleaning it all up.
This picture has nothing to do with the birthday, but its a funny face that Isaac's been making a lot. It's really funny when his tongue also gets involved.

Kicked out of our Home

Last weekend, Mark kicked me and the kids out of the house. He had some work to do on the bathroom (our only bathroom) so he politely invited us to go elsewhere. Grandma decided to join us for an excursion to Charlotte to visit Holly's brother and his family. We had a great time watching the little ones interact. Three year old prayers are especially funny with commentaries from another three year old. Here are some shots from a trip to the park.

Isaac--10 months

Ellery--1 1/2 years

Hannah--3 years

Ashley--3 years

Notice, Ashley and Hannah have the same hair-do. Thanks Karilee.
This next one is a video of Isaac swinging. I just think it's cute to hear him laughing.
Be warned, it might make you sea sick.

Pictures of the finished bathroom are forthcoming. You will be so impressed.
